Hmmm might there be another diver who is known as scuba jenny??

Kyalami called yesterday to let me know it would be bumpy. I’m diving ST today to give myself a break.

Be sure and report back!

At the Square Grouper dock it was chocolate milk and the inlet looked frothy. Captain Zack jumped on the TowBoat Zodiac and ran out to get eyes on. He confirmed the risk vs reward was too far out of balance. No surprise - we were a weather scratch today.

Emerald made it out early but getting out (bow against wave) is only a quarter of success so they still have the rest of the trip (wave against stern) to accomplish. Not to be a negative nancy but I wouldn’t dive with them anyways so not feeling any envy.

Captain Mike of Kyalami down in WPB got out and went pretty far south to find 10ft viz for a group of out-of-towners who were happy with that.

Reminds me of when we had to close a ski lift, delay an air assault (helo) or airborne assault (cargo airplane) due to high winds. No drama - can’t control the weather.

Still tipped the crew. On board and on the dock today were Kayla, Spencer, Ian and Alec.

I was watching the Jup Live Stream at 10am. Kyalami was at the dock and then pulled away from it and did a U-turn, but the sweeping camera lost you. In the screen shot here, it's bad-arse curls at least 10ft tall. And then you have to out-run them sideways. I gotta alot of respect for you >> you knew the forecast and showed up but the capt always has the final decision.
