You may see me hitchhiking on Sunday Morning. I'm staying at Perdido Grande (27770 Canal Rd
Orange Beach, AL 36561-4008), which is spitting distance from the Marina (27844 Canal Rd) as the crow flies...

However someone built a big giant condo complex between the two. So, I'll probably drive over, drop off the gear, etc, and bring the car back to the wife for her use.

So, if you see a guy in a speedo heading toward the marina on Canal Road, please pick him up, especially if he's lugging two HP119's and a bag full of gear...

Hey... just wonderin'... I didn't realize the hotel rates would be SO much higher around there this time of year, and since we would not be getting into the area until late Saturday evening, it seems like a waste to pay that much just to be able to crash for a few hours since we have to be at Gary's by 7AM, so does anyone else want to double up with us, or any locals that have crash space they'd be willing to share? (We don't mind sharing a bed even though we're not a "couple" LOL).

I see $55-$65 on travelocity in P'cola (not far at all).

I'm going to try to see if I can get Gary to drift us into the Dutch Banks again. It was fun watching Denise get dragged behind the boat like a sonar fish.
