Foley's where we usually stay, and both times I've been out that wy I've stayed at America's Best Inn, which is actually the lowest priced place and VERY nice for the price in Foley. Microtel wasn't too much cheaper, and P'Cola would make for a longer drive either way. We're talking about possibly just leaving from Slidell by 4AM unless anyone local wants to take us in. (we're both poor self-employed souls! LOL) If we could leave earlier Saturday it wouldn't be a big deal but we both have obligations in the afternoon and can't hit the road until the evening. :)

Same here. We have a birthday party Saturday evening from 4 to 6pm, so it wouldn't make much sense getting down there that late. We will be headed out at 4am Sunday morning.

I'm going to try to see if I can get Gary to drift us into the Dutch Banks again. It was fun watching Denise get dragged behind the boat like a sonar fish.

Ohhhhhhhhh No...this was YOUR trip remember? You should have the honors.:D In fact his gear takes up so much room I think you should tow him behind the boat the whole way out there...give the rest of us more room to spread out.:D

Hey... just wonderin'... I didn't realize the hotel rates would be SO much higher around there this time of year, and since we would not be getting into the area until late Saturday evening, it seems like a waste to pay that much just to be able to crash for a few hours since we have to be at Gary's by 7AM, so does anyone else want to double up with us, or any locals that have crash space they'd be willing to share? (We don't mind sharing a bed even though we're not a "couple" LOL).

That's the same price I got in Pelham at the Quality Inn. I got a good discount. Was 98.00 a night. :)

And that is useful in finding a room at Orange Beach how? :shakehead:.......

(Hey, I've got to give someone a hard time today, might as well be you)

Edit: I take that back. It is Paul's Day :D

Nasonex seems to work well for me. It's a prescription nose spray. It has not cured me, but it has made things easier.

I took Andy to the Doctor Tuesday and that is what he prescribed along with some other allergy medication and antibiotics to clear up a current infection. Hopefully he will be good to go on June 15th. :)

Thank you -h

Oh, it's sad when senility sets in... Remember back to May 31?

YAY!! I finally plan a dive that people participate in...

Ummmmm no..I think not. You only picked the date. I did the rest.

You took credit for this trip, so you get the sonar treatment.

Which, BTW, completely contradicted your previous day's comment:
humble paul:
Gary's calendar has been updated to reflect the Avocet/YDT's.
denise on her meds:
I am good.....I haven't even talked to him yet....

Bipolar, much?

You changed objects between those two sentences. I don't follow.

I know you're not saying I carry too much gear, ms. dive trailer 2008! I don't even carry a gear bag on the boat, although I may bring a camera on this trip.
