July 4th weekend at FRP

Hey guys, looks like an interesting group around here. I'd like to come out and join in the fun this Saturday if I can. I'm fairly recently certified and have been itching for a chance to get back in the water. Does FRP offer gear rentals though?, because I don't have much yet in the way of my own gear.

LoL, we are an interesting group! You are MORE than welcome to come out and join us in the festivities! FRP does not have any rentals or an air compressor, you may want to check with one of the local shops.

Where were you certified?

I just moved back to Louisville after going to school at Murray State where I was certified, though we did our OW dives in Cozumel.

Fraid not, cerulean has been closed for good, and I was about to go with a group last weekend to pennyroyal but they canceled at the last minute. By the way, around what time should I expect to be there on Sat?

Any time Saturday, some one from our group will be there! Watch out for Wally "crpntr133" though; I hear he is a trouble maker! Just check in and ask Joe where diver Chris is at. We usually congregate over at the pavilion directly across from the check in.

I hope some one takes over Cerulean and re-opens it to divers. Tstormdiver frequents Pennyroyal and I'm sure she would be glad to meet you down there some time!

Trouble maker??? I deserve a better title than that!! I have worked long and hard to ruin my reputation!!

I will be driving a red GMC Sierra and will be camping. I also found the land piranha so I will see about getting him flying Friday when I get there. Sorry but I can't help on gear unless you want to borrow a tank or fins. All I ask is if you want to borrow the tank then pay to have it refilled.

(snickers) Yah I remember the strawberry picture. That was the first and the best get together that we have had. Well, the one that we had at BS last year was pretty good as well.


BTW, the shine is for medicinal purposes only. I gave up the drunk scene many moons ago.

Just happen to think (no comments) that I do have gear that could be borrowed. Zeagle Brigade, size large. Mares semi dry suit, size large. I also have extra weight, at least 10 lbs probably more like 15-20. If you like the suit I will even sell it to you. Other than regs I think I have gear for one person.

I do have my own mask and fins already, I'll just have to hit up a dive shop somewhere, I'd need at least size XL possibly 2X but thanks for the offer. And I'll look to see ya there.
