07/15/2013-07/25/2013 - Silvernotch on Honeymoon! - Blue Angel - Blue Angel

Congrats Silvernotch! I made my first trip on my honeymoon July 20th 1996. We have been addicted ever since and come back every year! LOL! :)

La Isla will be deserted this summer it seems! Sweeeeet!

No kidding. My June list is totally weak. Not as weak as yours, of course, but pretty shabby compared to the spring lists. I can't believe people are afraid of a little heat.

I vote Blue Angel unless you need AI. I have always wanted to stay there.....!

The reality is that Cozumel is not that uncomfortable in summer. A fairly small island surrounded by 86 degree water can't get much hotter than the ocean unless there is no wind. WE in Houston go there to cool down!

Dave, I have heard that sentiment from other Texas people I've met on Coz (going there to cool off). It still blows my mind. This NorCal gal has spent her last 3 trips to Coz in summer: one in June, one in August and one in June/July. I am literally dripping when I walk around town + the skeeters love me. AC & bug spray are musts. I'm trying September this year... I've got my tix but it's a little early for that list :-) ...crossing fingers for no hurricanes! On the plus side, in summer the island moves at a slower pace, no crowds and being in the water is like swimming in silk. Any month and I'm happy to be there.

Waaaahhhhh!!!! :crying:
I don't count in July because I'm on the June list too??
I thought I could double dip?

Anyway, will be at SCC for 2 days in June (29 & 30) followed by 5 days in July (1-6).

Double dip all day! You are really fake June'ers. :)

We Okies/Arkansans LAUGH at the non southerners melting in the summer in Cozumel! 110 degrees with 50% humidity makes Cozumel feel like going to Canada! :)
