I currently have a pair of XL Jets that I use with wetsuit boots, but have found with the drysuit and overboots, the fin is too small. Im worried that the xxl jet fin will be too big as Ive heard its ridiculously large so I was wondering where Turtles and Jets fit in size wise. Is the xxxl turtle fin of today the same as it was originaly?

I'm wondering if its like this:

XL Jet
XXXL Turtle
XXL Jet

thanks for your help,
Ryan

You are correct they will be to large. I am not sure about the Turtle's but OMS Slip Streams are between the Jet XL and XXL in size. They are also neutral while the Jets are negative.

I like the fact that Jets are negative which is why I'm looking at turtle fins, but thanks for the advise!

well i wear a shoe size 12 (with drysuit, converse size 13.5-14)so I assume I would be in a bigger sized rock boot than a 10... would you say xxxl turtles?

I solved that by going with OMS Slipstream XL for wet suit boots and XXL for my attached dry suit moon boots.

I had to replace my fins when I went to a dry suit and rock boots. I found the best way is to bring your rock boots to a LDS and just try the fins on. Then you know what fits and don't have to guess. Spring straps are a must for me.

I think the XXL would still be in your range....I have some extra room in the foot pocket, but the way the spring straps and the upper lip of the fin pocket conform to the foot, there is no extra fin movement at all.....

If you have any doubt, I would drop by a LDS that you actually trust....Mine gave me 25% of MSRP and told me to try out the first pair of XL which didn't work, and just exchanged them for a pair of XXL's, no questions asked.....

I know it's not always easy to find good customer service like that, but those are the places I'll give my business to...

I wear turtles and they fit drysuit boots -of pretty much any size- just fine. The BIG jets are truely humongous!!
