a snuggly first mother's day was had by me & the lovely boy. he's 8lb 4oz, 2lb of which are cheeks. he had lots of labs this morning & they're all going in the right direction - his bilirubin is down to 8.7! of course, normal is zero, but hey! better than 18!

we'll have to try to find one of those teeny snuba sets for him. he has fins, though, bigwhitesquare gave him some!
