J valve

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to the dive shop tomorrow to bring them in for hydro/Vis. If any of them fail, i'll have them put the k valves on the good ones. Two of them are LP steel tanks, slightly smaller than the AL tanks. (don't know the volume)The AL tanks are the "80cuft 3000 psi aluminum “professional”" tanks.
 
I don't know much about j-valves other than one of my current instrustors who started diving for the navy in 1957 dove them in vietnam, and loved them, of course they were working well, I imagine after 30-40 years they might not be in the greatest of shape. Also it sounds like they are still being produced on a small scale, any idea where to get one in the seattle area, or where to go online for one?
 
Mar-Vel should have them but you may have to go through your LDS as I don't believe they do on line or mail order to indivudals.
