LOL! Do you want to leave the planet because of the political and environmental mess, or to escape the traffic on I95?

GREAT...Thanks a lot, now I have ANOTHER reason to go! ......OR, build a bigger spaceship to load all the shrieking nuts onto, and send them to another planet that has no government to slay!

That would have to be a REALLY big spaceship! Not that I'm making a comment regarding CT drivers........:1poke:

End of hijack .... we now return you to the original post about how we can stop the coming of the next Ice Age, or something like that.

While spreading awareness of Global Warming issues on SB is a good thing, there is a more direct effect that we can have on survival rates of coral etc. Let us not forget to keep the fins off of the reef, don't drag your gauges and octo, clip those danglies off, work on your trim to get those fins out off of the bottom and don't go playing where your tank and dangles etc. will do damage. Lest you think SB needs no reminders, here are just a few examples taken from the photo archives:

It appears that we may all need a reminder?
More than anything, this may be where we can make the greatest contribution!
Whether or not we can slove the eco problems that seem to be appearing, to do direct damage to a reef or any other system is truly sad.

I do not own a suv, never will, never have. I do ride a bicycle, I have 4 of them. My wife rides a bike, she has three. My daughter rides a bike, she has two. My father and mother rode bikes. Don't blame my family.

I wonder how much CO2 was released in the smelting, production, and transportation of those bicycles? Does the store that you purchased them in have electricity? How much coal burning happened in producing the electricity for that store?

and so on....

Its either nobody's fault or everybody's fault.

it amazes me on how many people used.. "the fact is.. " in this long *** post... and most of those people had very different point of view. THE FACT IS ... is that we all think we are right and try to blam others or nature on what is happening. The only way we could fix the problem of global warming.. if its happening.. is to cut off all carbon use. yah right. seeing that we keep consuming more natural gas, coal and oil each year. we are human we consum. I believe that mother earth knows what she is doing. We wouldn't be here if we weren't supposed to be. its the cycle of life. things die. things are re-born. (could use the lion king music about now...) I think once mother nature gets sick of humans being around she will take care of it and wipe us out. i think we will all die of a virus or diease before the world flooded....
