Oh, I believe you. I was out there one day about two years ago when from the surface you could see the bottom - boats, rocks, you name it.

Still wouldn't use Blue Lagoon and "awesome" in the same sentence

Well, it's a comparative term. Compared to the way it usually is, it was awesome. Compared to Coz, it was just the Blue Lagoon...LOL! Never the less, 30 ft. vis in fresh water (if you can call it fresh) is, to say the least, unusual.
