The ocean was fairly calm around Palos Verdes this morning. Merry and I ventured out after dawn hoping to beat the wind and get in a couple of nice dives. Instead, we got surge, dirty water, and a lot of bottom time looking for animals that were hiding from the conditions. Visibility was a disappointing ten to fifteen feet. I averaged one photo every six minutes. The swell models are calling for continued flatness. Maybe the visibility will increase by the weekend.
