Ten years on Hickam Air Force Base coming to a close this weekend.

Island Divers lost the competitive bid process to Dive Oahu, and baring some unforeseen complication Dive Oahu will be the new contractor on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam.

Island Divers will continue to operate their boats and two remaining locations at Hawaii Kai and Schofield Barracks (I'll need to modify my signature after this weekend:cool2:)

While that is certainly Oahu industry news, let me add this with the risk of being edited out of the forum. Everything has to go this weekend from that shop and a lot of the pros that hang around this forum might be interested in some of the things that are going up for sale: compressor, mixed gas blending station, hascle, tanks(60), rental gear (new in May), all new retail inventory at cost or near it, fixtures, displays, lighting, classroom (tables, chairs, TV, cabinets). Whatever I don't liquidate I have to put in storage or on craigslist, so come on down and make a reasonable offer. Sorry, we will be extremely busy the next few days clearing out of there, so I won't be checking this forum until all is said and done.

Remember, I'm not going out of business, just closing a location. So come with your fair offers.
