I'm deciding on a Worthington steel tank, specifically a X8-119 vs. X8-130. The X8-130 is 1.5" longer than a 119. Do you think a X8-130 is too big for my size at 5' 8" and 170lbs?

The 130s are heavy, but only 1/2" longer than the LP85s, which work for me at 5'8".

Thanks Ron!
Where do you dive up in Albany?

My wife, 5' 7" and under 130 lbs., dives an X8-130 frequently on deep wrecks without any trouble.

That settles it. A X-8 130 it is!
Thanks for everyone's reply.

It looks like I'm late chiming in, but I've seen plenty of women make HP130s work, including my wife. 5'10", I'm-not-telling lbs. (she's skinny, but I'm still not telling.)

The 130 and 119 are very close in specs so why not get a little more air. Of couse if your diving wet make sure you can swim this tank up full. Good luck.

Nope. Go for the 130.
