My place on a Saturday afternoon taking a half time break from the footy after a few beers

But better with a trolley

a compressor, a bed?

Let's say I have to carry a tank over a long distance on hard ground, i.e. a sidewalk or boardwalk. Is there an easy way to carry a scuba tank? Maybe some device that has wheels or something like that? I really dread carrying all of this stuff to the beach.
you ask someone else
to carry it out for yourself.

I use a two wheel fishing cart with balloon tires and a couple of bungie cords. It hauls two BCDs with tanks if you bungie cord them to keep them stable. It has a bottle holder and big mesh bag for all your stuff like fins, mask, sharkskin top, boots... Balloon tires work well on any surface including sand. The ballon tires are held to the cart with Cotter pins, and are easily removed making the cart easier to stick in a car trunk.

If I leave the cart near the water/entry point I use a cheap cable lock. Most thieves won't bother a cart with any kind of lock. Carts disappear when not locked.

After reading another person's suggestion I came across something called a beach wagon and I think that's what I had in mind because it can carry everything at once even through sand. Thank you.

I used a basic hand truck. I even welded a larger plate on the bottom when I needed to carry more tanks.

They also come in folding versions.
Thank you. After reading your post, I eventually came across something called a beach wagon. I think that is what I was looking for.

Just remember if you're keen and work hard you can move to a place with less distance to pull your trolleys
