Is it bad to pee in a wetsuit?

Does anyone go out and say "Hey, I'm going to pee in my wetsuit"

It happens, deal with it. The big thing is to clean it as soon as possible. I use dish soap on mine. I don't pee every time, but when I have to, I try to keep it as early in the dive as possible. At the end of the dive I try to "flush" as much water through the suit as I can. If I am doing multiple dives, multipe days away from home, I have some mild dish soap for my dishesand my suit....

If you don't clean it, right away it will stink to high Heaven...

For what it is worth, I seldom dive in warm water...

Now that I'm out here in Nor Cal I haven't had the urge so I don't know if it'll be any different.

Someone once told me that something shiny black exuding warm mammal urine attracted Great Whites and Orcas...Any truth to this??

In the past, I've always tried to avoid peeing in a suit but sometimes there is no choice because I drink a lot of water. I think that also may be an explanation of why some people seem to have smelly urine and some don't.
I've heard it said that if your urine is dark you aren't getting enough water. When on a dive, I say the more water the better for a number of reasons.
Also, in cold water and beach dives, heads are usually very inconvenient.
So, for me and my suit, it's down the yellow river without guilt.
(but always a good wash.)

P.S Dive shop owners:
I ran across a dive shop with a very clever idea.
They told the customers that their wetsuits had a special urine detector.
It would release a blue cloud into the water if urine was produced.
(I didn't believe it but I didn't pee in their wetsuit either.)
