That's the easiest way NOT to be bothered... If you don't like something... don't read it.
A lot of this thread has been people trying to suggest more open communication between the staff and members. That's the gist of this thread in a nutshell.
Communication between staff and members is important ... VERY important at this juncture because the trust relationship has been eroded, and needs to be repaired. Open communication is the ONLY way that's going to happen.

I actually come around SB a lot less because of threads like this.
The sad thing is that some people who used to be extremely VALUABLE members of this community do not come around SB AT ALL anymore ... because of the way they were treated by SB staff.
Where's Uncle Pug? Where's OE2X? Where's Snowbear? There are others ... those three just happen to be friends of mine who don't participate here anymore because of the disrespectful way they were treated.
And yes, it bugs the hell out of me that they're not here.
Last night I thought I had dealt with this issue ... directly, with Pete.
This morning I logged onto my e-mail to find a message from one of the senior staff, informing me that my password had been changed. Did he check with Pete first? Somehow I doubt it. I've been kicked off the board twice this morning ... just in the past two hours ... only to be "restored" a short time later. Some staff member is mucking around with my account without contacting me or discussing it with me ... probably more than one.
Is that "open communication"?
Some of these people are like little children, given a new book of matches, who just HAVE to play with fire.
It isn't the "complainers" who are damaging this board. It's people who have to learn how to use to use their authority responsibly ... and show a little courtesy when dealing with the people who post here. Either that, or drive them away.
You've already lost some of the better ones ... how many more do you have to lose before you figure that out?
