Ok then ..... now let talk about those pooooooor handicap lobster :blinking:

Those were molts, my dear. What about them?

Mmmmm, I love catching molted lobsters when they are in season...they are so much easier to clean! :D

By the way, that look is really you, Walter. :rofl3:

OK, I'm ready to post my pics now.

The biggest darn Tarpon I have ever seen. This guy was at least 8 ft long. This is a poor picture, but I wasn't ready for the good one. The Eagle

That's it folks. Well there were some more, but these were the best.:D

Dennis: Great shots! I loved them all.

I went back to Paul Humann's Reef Fish identification book. He says Blue Parrot Fish are all blue in all phases and the Midnight Parrot Fish has the distinguising characteristic of "Bright blue markings on head." From the picture I think I have to vote with Walter on this one (as much as it pains me to do so  ).

Maybe so, but he just isn't that dark midnight blue color.

And he has the more squared-off head......... I say it's a Blue Parrotfish.

Great pics everyone! Now I gotta go back and click the links to see the rest of 'em.....

Walter:
Luckily, she wasn't actually burned. Pete, I don't know if I mentioned it, but I really appreciate you going so far out of your way to pick her up. You are a good friend, I hope folks here realize it.

I think I thanked Pete in person (I was a tad bit distracted) but Walter is absolutely right- Pete deserves more thanks from me as well. He went out of his way to come pick me up in Florida City, giving up his spot on the spear fishing trip to do it.

[c]Thank you Pete!!! [/c]

Still don't know why my car went up in flames, though. :shakehead
