Interface Compatability

I currently own a Datamax Pro Plus and an Aeris 500AI. I want to buy the interface but I was wondering since they are made by the same company (Pelagic)(sp?) -- Can I use the same interface with both computers? I called Oceanic and their tech support didn't know. I wrote Rodales- no response. Anyone out there know?

I have the Oceanic DMPP and the download stuff. I don't know the answer to your question but something tells me that no, you couldn't use the same pc download. After all, these are two different companies, in theory anyway, and 'they' (Pelagic?) can sell twice as many units if the downloads aren't interchangeable.

Just a guess....
