Mo2vation:
A dive op in FL bounced my rig off the deck. Got back, filed a claim, got a check real, real quick. No hassle. A couple of faxes and a check showed up to fully cover all repair costs less deductable ($100.)

I couldn't be more pleased.

On the manufacturer repair side, that's another story. But on the insurance side, very easy.

Ken

Did they cut the check for the price of the equipment at the new cost or at a prorated rate, less the deduc? How much was your deduc.

from H2O's website:
Deductible $100; Water Deductible $250 or 10% loss, whichever is greater

if the camera floods is it the 250 or 10% deduc that you pay?

I have most of my dive equipment and cameras insured with State Farm, now there was a few things they did not cover like weights and things that get lost all the time. and for $5000 in equipment it was $85.00 per year. It even covers your things if they are stolen on the plane.
