After talking to the guy at Scuba Oddessy in Rehoboth (very nice and helpful on the phone BTW) their next class starts June 6th, so I'm probably going to do that one. He did mention that they are getting a lot of interest and they might start another class sooner. He is going to let me know this week how that is going.

I'm looking forward to getting certified and getting out there!

Cool!! Good choice! Great shop and they really do love to dive, which helps.;)

Hope to see you out there this summer!

I hear that one of the old instructors in South Attleboro (Bob McM*&^%s) is looking into opening his own shop. Anyone know anything about that?

Bob was an excellent instructor whose motto was safety first followed by great customer service.

Scuba North...how's it going? Long time no chat!!

Bob is a very good friend of mine. He hasn't mentioned anything about opening a shop
but I will ask him the next time I see him. Our club (Old Colony Amphibians) is having our annual spring Tune up dive this Sunday and I will probably see him there. Bob is a great guy, I remember when he was first certified and looking to get some experience.

I heard that info about Bob from a couple of your club members who were managing the booth at the Sportsman's show in Providence a few weeks ago.

Sean if you see Bob tell him "John" says hello. he trained my wife, daughter and I all in the same OW class. I took my First Resonder and AOW with him.also. If everyone in the business was like him.....

If you feel like a little drive go to PG Dive in Newton....great customer service and prices....offer classes too

I'm going to take the class at Scuba Oddessy in Rehoboth, they have one starting up in June.

I will, and coincidentally my name is John too. I use the Sean22 because John was already taken on this board. Sean is my 12 year old son's name. I also remember taking him out to the U853 for his first time. He was just a bit nervous (of course I was my first time too) if I remember. I was manning the OCA booth on Friday night and the RISAA Artificial reefs booth on Sunday, maybe I even had the occaision to chat with you?
