Well, never PC, given the shapes of people these days (including women) I would maybe provide a tag with a drawing for the intended fit. For example, a pencil for Twiggy, a pear for Rosy and an apple for Oprah and so on. Just trying to help. I would think in particular regards to women that X, XL, M, L etc. is not sufficiently descriptive, it is not enough for men. For example, for men there should be the "no butt" fit, the "beer gut" fit and the "Duck Commander" bubba fit, the "Arnold fit" (big arms, scrawny legs) of course, again, with little drawings showing the intended body shape.
How about a smart tag (with a chip) and you could bump it with your IPhone and it would say something like, "no way lady are you squeezing that gumpus in to this neoprene."
