I think most of the SMB's you find will fit in a BC pocket if rolled up tight.
Keep in mind that you don't want it to be too small since the goal is for people to see it.
I personally like to use the bags with overflow valve since they are bigger and can be deployed from any depth.
I agree with the crowd that deploying an SMB from depth requires some training or atleast practice. I usually use my octo or primary reg to fill the bag from an opening at the bottom.
The oral inflate bags are surprisingly tough to fill in my opinion and not something I want to do while bouncing around on the surface.
Good luck.

Oh yeah:
They have really good deals on SMB's here http://www.piranhadivemfg.com/products.html

Definately want one with overflow capabilities.
As we all remember from our basic OW course, air is compressed at depth.
If we deploy at depth, filling the SMB fully....and there's no overflow capabilities....what happens to the air as it ascends?......yep.....expansion.......the SMB stands a good chance of busting from overfill.

c8x - You want one that's 5 feet long. the big ones are 8 feet.
