I would go to St. Thomas and stay at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. It is a family owned/run place that is as expensive as all the other all inclusives that time of year. We generally DON't do AI's because we prefer to cook our own meals (I am gone away from home a lot and we don't get to cook together much) but this one we liked. It is on the far south side of the island and the dive shop is right between the resort pool/bar/lobby and the resort beach bar. Perfect. I did my DSC and my OW cert there and the diving is great, the staff is great and the AI is great. STT for me.

I'm really leaning toward park royal now and just use a different dive op, especially since they will pick up at the dock

Hi BRD1, If you are leaning toward Park Royal and diving with an off site Dive OP, then perhaps what you may want to do first is to look through some of the posts and reviews made here on Scubaboard to help you decide on a top 3-5 list. Then, contact the top choice on the list and see if they pick up at the Park Royal. If so, and they can accommodate you, then you are set. Otherwise, if not, move on to your second in line and so on.

Best Wishes to you and have a wonderful Cozumel dive vacation.

We are staying in Park Royal in March 7-14. I'm not sure how the all inclusive will workout as divers, can't drink much. This will be our first time in Cozumel. We are leaning with Tres Pelicanos or Scuba Mau. My husband has 36 dives and Cozumel will be his first drift dives. We will probably do 4days of 2tank am dives and one night dive. I'm considering hiring a private dm for the 1st day.
