My big fat 7mm won't fit under my boots even if I wanted it to.

outside- or else my booties get all squelchy.... :D
Although with some people that doesn't matter- i knew aninstructor who still had his first EVER pair of booties- there were more holes in em then there are holes in a....
i dont quite know what to finish with there- but you get my meaning :wink:
 
Depends on the suit and boots.

For my thin, central FL wetsuit I wear the wet suit legs on the outside of the booties. Working in the dirty water and sand bottom I would end up with far less sand in my boots this way. :11:

In heavy dress the lead boots go outside the canvas suit because that is the only way they can go on. :D
