In between sizes, size up or down?

Looking at Scubapro's size guides I'm literally between a M and L. I have a feeling it'll be hard to gauge the difference when trying on, but what's the general advice? Size up for the inevitable aging weight gain, or go smaller for a more streamlined fit?
 
It is all about trying it on. Even within a brand, difference BCs are going to have a different fit.
 
Agree with @parzdiver regarding trying on candidate BCs.

Below is a link to a helpful video to get a too-small/too-big/just-right visualization with some fitting tips (e.g., make sure you have enough adjustment leeway for a thicker wetsuit).
