# of dives
I've seen them at depths of over 100'. I've seen them at 25'. I've seen them on day dives and I've seen them on night dives.
Mostly I see them in twos, butt to head or on top of each other - choo-chooing across the reef.

and this was nearby... someone told me they were nudibranch eggs? can anyone verify?

I think that that is a strand of spanish dancer eggs.

VBlueV, Observe anything? Have you seen them in more spots than others?

Oh, just remembered. When I saw them on a night dive the skirt was much more "frilly" than when I saw them on AM dives.

Also, I've never seen them traveling over sand. They seem to travel from reef to reef by making themselves bouyant and drift to the next reef...
 
Ain't that the truth? Wonder why they are so pretty compared to their surface brothers and why there are so many different ones?
 
"Nudi's", ...they seem to fornicate most of their time away.

I always run into them in twos. Must be Nudibranch love..

they are above "slime molds" in the hierarchy of life forms though.
