Kalvyn: I am sure a lot of people would go in for quickie pilot licenses if they could get them. Fortunately they are not readily available.The point is that new divers should not be the driving force in the industry. The certifying agencies need to have the guts to set and enforce real standards. I dont think its particuilarly useful to blame new divers for an industry wide problem that existed before they even showed up. I believe the public ultimately would reward high standards. Why else does DIR even exist?
