Im here and almost ready to dive...

Hey people

So ive recently moved to Mountain View (for a job at Stanford) and, after a couple of weeks settling in, have decided i am never ever going to leave. This place rocks. The biking/hinking trails, the redwoods, the pacific coast and the City...its all good. Anyway, and most importantly, i have my drysuit course next weekend (with Bluewater aquatics in Sunnyvale) and my PADI advanced mid september. I have done some south coast England diving (in a drysuit, with an experienced buddy, but never went for the c-card until now) and some off the West coast of Scotland (where im from originally) and really cant wait to get wet in Monterey.

So if anyone would potentially like to get into a regular (1-2 weekends/month) Monterey thing, im definately interested in that. And if there are people out there within convenient distance to Mountain View, how about hitting a bar sometime to talk about this obsession? Just PM me and we'll sort it out.

I will be up for a trip once and a while when I am not working on DM class stuff. I will also be checking out some Sonoma sites with the crew that lives up ther. Keep your eyes on the board and we will be in the water soon.

i have my drysuit course in Monterey on the weekend of the 19th...cant wait to get back in the water.

And ill definately be in touch about some Sonoma county dives... love that coastline you guys have up there- spectacular.
