I'm finially diving here in MI

I'm over here in Milford and am finially taking the plunge into regular cold water diving.

I will need a buddy or 2 or a bunch so..... if anyone wants to dive, shoot me a pm or 2 please.

I promise to behave reasonably well.

Glad to have you here. The water actually warms up to a decent temp in July, August, and September. Other than that we need to travel to the Bahamas, Cozumel, etc. Either way we can have fun. I am within 10 miles of you. It would be great to dive, share pictures, and the like with you. Have fun and dive safe.

Thats too cool! I have the license plate cover that says the same thing. I'm gonna be diving Splashdown next weekend with Peter. Those guys are the best!

Yes, I did 3 of my 4 ow cert dives there. Its a lovely shade of green this time of year. What park will you be at the weekend?

If you are interested, we do a weekly dive every Wednesday night throughtout the summer months. We meet at 6pm at Aquatic Adventures of MI in Brighton (810) 225-9868 and then head out to the site. Every week we dive a different location generally around SE Michigan. This Wednesday the 17th, we are diving at Union Lake. Perhaps you might join us.

Hey Tiggr.

Spring Mill Pond is convenient, wet! and free of boat traffic. However, there are lots of choices for mud holes in this part of Michigan. Make sure to check out Aquatic Adventures as Dave said. Also, Sea The World (Farmington Hills) is typically out at Spring Mill on Weds during the Summer.

An option for Lake Huron is with Rec & Tec / Gary Venet. If you go to his website you can sign up for his email list - he keeps everyone up to date on openings on his charters including when different stores, groups etc can't totally fill a charter. http://www.rectecdivecharters.com/

& of course, hook up with the GLWC members as much as possible. See my thread on White Star this weekend.
