I just earned my open water cert this weekend at Portage Quarry with Sea the World.

I'm in West Bloomfield and will definelty be out at Spring Mill Pond when Sea the World starts going there.

Anyone planning a dive for this Sunday in the area and wouldn't mind a newbie diving along (wetsuit 7mm)? (Union Lake, Cass, Orchard or Spring Mill?)

Did we lose tiggrr??? ;-)

Sorry.... I am in Florida busy diving!! :D

Silver Lake sounds good. I have a lot of family that way and used to live in A2.

I'd also like to try a trip to Gilboa. But, I think I need a guide as well.

It seems like all I hear of night dives in Union Lake are Wed nite. I have to work til 10 pm on Wed nites. :( Does anyone ever dive Sat nite or Monday nite??

I have Monday and most of Fridays off.... is anyone out diving those days??

Thanks for noticin' me! ;-) We of the Hundred Acre Wood have to watch out for each other.

But the least you could have done was take me with you! Say "Hi" to Lynn and Kevin for me (Mark from Ann Arbor).

Our LDC dives Saturday nights at Portage a lot (last week, as a matter of fact, and 10 June too). I'm out of town right now but when I'm in town (and American Idol is over) Mondays or Fridays might be doable. Drop me a line at the HAW post office (or PM me!). ;-)

We'll prolly be going to Portage Monday; don't know about Sunday yet.

Where is Spring Mill Pond?

It's in Island Lake State Park off of I-96, just West of Milford at the Kensington Road exit #151
