This will be very brief...but I wanted to check in and let everyone know that your thoughts and prayers during the past week are appreciated more than you know.

I arrived in Houston this afternoon at 4:00. I am NOT here for good contrary to reports I have heard. I will be here for a week and a half to two weeks so that I can communicate with my customers, which is obviously very high on the priority list. I have been able to communicate with close family and friends since Monday only sporadically since I have been without electricity or phone service.

My priority this past week was survival for my crew, my friends, my pets, my home, and basically putting the pieces back together.

I expect to be fully operational again Thanksgiving week. Shamu suffered minor damage in the grand scheme of things, we just need a couple of weeks to make repairs.

At this time, I do ask for patience as I work through the e-mails and bookings. Please be assured that if you have reservations with me, I will be in contact with you over the next few days and I will be working through reservations chronologically.

Thank you all again for your thoughts, well wishes, prayers, etc. This is truly one of the most amazing communities of people I could ever ask to be associated with and I feel blessed to be a part of it.

God Bless all of you,
Christi

HUGS and KISSES

Glad you are alright and are in Houston staying mold free and well nourished. You were lucky to get off the island. How did you manage that?

Obviously my Nov 6,7 8 and 9 dive dates are cancelled. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hey Christi,

Glad you made it stateside and things back in Coz are slowly coming together. I really want to thank you for the advice last Wednesday to get out - I may have been given one of the last seats that day!! Take cae and when we can settle things out when you can. Just let me know.

I had a ticket booked prior to the hurricane which was cancelled.

Continental sent three rescue flights in today.

I got on the waiting list yesterday morning at 10:00.

I didn't get off the island to "run away", I came to work so that I can keep my crew fed and employed. There is nothing I can do on the island at this point other than use resources needed for others. As I said, I can be more useful to my clients and crew here with electricity, internet and phone service.

I'll be in touch after I get some rest.

By the way everyone...it seems as if my e-mail account is acting up...can't send or recieve right now. I am sure I just need to reset some things here with the ISP, which I will take care of tomorrow. Your patience is gold...thank you!

Hi Christi!!
We've been waiting on pins and needles to hear from you!
That was quite an experience to live through, and thank god your healthy!
How are your pets? Are they with you?
Take care, and let me know how I can help you and your crew.

Christi,
so good to hear you and yours all good. Our thoughts have certainly been w/ you, Mago all and Pedro & family. Since we were just w/you all a short month ago this has been something we have followed closely from our home in Austin. Wish we could all go down and help clean up. We are anxious for news regarding the reef condition and cleanup efforts. We loved Coz and her people and pray for a speedy return to normalcy. Take care and when you return to Coz -- give your crew (Javier, Mago, Pedro) a big hug from Sue, Mike, Sheila, Steve!
