yup those new Revo one's are about $154 equivalent at D-aquos. regular jetfin's are $93... yikes!

Anyways, thanks for offering but considering you're hopping to so many places, I wouldn't want you lugging something that big around...

I managed to snag a pair, 17k yen, which translates to "You want HOW MUCH for a set of rubber?" Gonna have to play with one foot pocket a bit, it pinches just a bit but otherwise the size is good. These are essentially streamlined Jets with a foot pocket that extends further to the heel like regular fins do. A diver should be able to get a lot more power into a stroke using these fins than using normal Jets. We'll see in two weeks when I can test them out.

Larry... for a focus light you can get a three way bracket from ultralight instead of a two way, that way you can get a light on it as well as the arm...

you mean a three way elbow? oooh those are a PITA!!! everytime you adjust your strobe arm you got to adjust the focus light.

halthron - wow can't believe you just bought a $150 pair of fins!!! now get some spring straps on em! Well you know the Japanese page for those REVO's say they were made for the Japanese foot so if you don't have squat size 8's, I can see the pockets being a pain...

not if you use dual segments on each side. you put the 3 way on the lower arm/housing connection. when shooting macro on a night dive for instance (the only time i ever use a spot lite) you don't move the strobes too much, by keepin it on the low side, it shouldn't move much at all...

They had one pair of the largest size they make (29-30). When I asked if they had a larger size I was told, rather imperiously, these are made for Japanese feet. They'll work well for 3mm, maybe as much as 5mm booties.

It's easy to justify the cost once you've bought a HID. Paying a subsidized room rate in Tokyo helps justify it as well.

Mike, while I like the Cressi Rondines, full foot fins won't work well with a dry suit. :eyebrow:

Mike / Pakman,

Could either of you get me a link for this? sounds like a good idea but I'm concerned with Ikelite compatibility. Both strobes (yes, both:D ) are as this arrangement...

Attaches straight onto the tray arms.

Just realised I'm beginning to sound like S80.

Where's Dennis? I feel a strong compunction to tell him that I love him...what's happening to me?
