Hello everybody, today I purchased a new Handycam. Ikelite wants 800 bucks for the housing for my cam, but I thought someone might know where I can get a for a few dollars cheaper. Thanks for any help.

If your camera has the little BLUE jack that is labeled LAN-C then you can use a SONY housing, if you can find one on E-Bay. (I got mine for $150). The LAN-C is the remote control cable, which allows access to the functions of the camera UW. If you don't have the LAN-C, you might have to get a IKELITE housing, since they use arms and levers to push the actual buttons on the camera itself, rather than electronic control of the camera.
