FYI Update. As great as I think the D7000 is I have canceled my order. Main issues tend to be with Nikons video. So I will wait another 6mths to 1yr and see what comes out. I am hoping for +18mp, excellent low light ISO performance, 1080 at better than 24fps, a functional autofocus system, and as simple as possible system for switching between stills and videos (that housings can deal with).

Sure I will be green with envy when I see the first housed D7000, lol.
 
I am glad you cancelled your order MJH as I be higher on the list to get my new Aquatica housing for the D7000. :D

I believe most of the hollywood stuff which uses DSLR's in the video production mainly shoots on 24fps anyway. But I do see your point when comparing against the Canon's DSLR video setups.

I received my new toys today... Unpacked the box and assembled everything... New Nikon... Nauticam housing... Inon strobes... Focus light... viewfinder...

My goodness, what have I gotten myself into?
