I dive to be in the QUIET world!

You know what I wish someone would invent (or make, since I've already invented it in my mind)? Some sort of flexible tube(s) that could be mounted on a regulator exhaust to divert the flow of bubbles away from my ears when I am diving.

Try not breathing on your next dive. It scares the sharks away anyway... :11:

Not to mention what it would do for your bottom time, eh? Free divers do it on one breath; why can't we?

I just returned from the Cozumel Palace. Stayed their Dec 28, 06 to Jan 01, 07. This place is awesome..all inclusive. Great food and liquor. I also was there Jul 31, 06 thru Aug 4, 06. I setup dives thru Aqua Safari each time. I brought my own BCD, Regulator, Fins & mask. Rented weight, tanks and shortie. Got Advanced Open Water Certified in Aug trip. Dive Instructors and Dive Masters are great and they speak execllent, elegant English. Safe diving was mandatory. Boats are clean, big and well organized. Captain and crew are serious about safety! I took the refresher course during August trip (shore dive off pier at the Palace. Then did six boat dives over next two days. Also did a night dive off the pier at the Palace. Saw lots of different critters during the night dive. (I recommend the night shore dive with an instructor). Deep dive at Columbia was great. Shallow dive at Palancar Gardens and Yucab were nice shallower dives. Trip just completed, we did two shore dives and two boat dives (Joined my daughter who got her Advanced cert on this trip) Deep dive at Columbia was great. Shallower dive at San Francisco was real nice too. San Francisco had a very strong current for drift dive. Anyway, you can't go wrong with the Palace or Aqua Safari. Contact Donna Menna at Aqua Safari- she can answer all of your questions. She speaks excellent English (Originally from Canada) and was most helpful when I setup each trip. (Send her an e-mail to dive@aquasafari.com and you will get a quick response. The hotel staff at the Palace are excellent as well. They treat you better than the people on the cruise ships. The Palace is immaculate. I hope this helps!

Isn't insisting on the last word against the Tos?

I'm assuming by Tos you mean the "Scubaboard rules"?

I'm not insisting on anything. My point is I don't want any emails from this thread (obviously I am still reading it). None of us are weathermen on this sight and trying to predict the weather a month or 2 in advance is ludicrous. If I had a crystal ball I would have postponed my past November trip due to bad weather... cripes I even had to wear pants on my last day it was so cold (that's a joke between my wife and I).

One more time - there's a lot of other good info in this thread... I was refering to the weather prediction aspect. :banghead:

:11: You get emails to subscribed threads? Gawd, I turned that off years ago - but then, I tend to post a lot.
