With technology being crazy like these days... i got to thinking, why don't we put together a set of maps of dive sites, where to park for them, and all that stuff, because it's always a pain to figure that stuff out.
I haven't figured out how to make the map publicly editable yet.. but i'll see what i can do!
just threw a few sites in there (was bored)

Maybe we would make a scubaboard account or something on there, who knows.
 
There is a couple of books out there that has a lot of that info.

I have one that is called, "A Shore Diving Guide of New England" by Jerry Shine.

There are others, as well.

Search through this forums for Google Earth... you can probably find what you're looking for or at least a start. There is a pretty cool one for wrecks.
