Hi all,

I'm planning on diving Catalina and St Clemente Island next month and I'm looking for input on good sources to ID the marine life there. Something similar in quality and depth of Paul Humann's book series (such as the Reef Set for the Caribbean) would be awesome.
Thanks!

Humann has an equivalent here: Coastal Fish Identification, California to Alaska

Also:

Gotshall, Pacific Coast Inshore Fishes (4th Ed)

Gotshall, Guide to Marine Invertebrates, Alaska to Baja California (2nd Ed)

Behrens and Hermosillo, Eastern Pacific Nudibranchs

Love, Probably More Than You Want to Know About the Fishes of the Pacific Coast (more info but no pretty pictures).

..

Beside Paul Humann's Coastal Fish Identification, California to Alaska, I have also been reading:

"Probably more than you want to know about the fishes of the pacific coast"
by Milton Love
