:happywave: Hey guys,
Just a little info for those friends that may have heard of our situation up here.
We have had the worst Ice Storm here in Kentucky that I can recall. Around my area we've had a little over an inch of ice, not to mention the snow with it.
We've had wide spread power outages and trees downed. I personally have had no power for 9 days and as we are on a well... no water. Luckly enough, it came on this morning . The Power Company say that it can be two to three more weeks before some have it.

We have been swamped with calls at the firehouse, a whole varity :banghead:. Anywhere from welfare checks to structure fires. You know, some people really do some stupid things when they have no power and it's cold, I guess from just not thinking. Boy, I have really run acorss some headscratchers.:headscratch: These are also the times that bring out the best in people... as well as the worst. :angrymob::furious:

Temps here have run in the single digits. Not as cold as futher north but cold enough here. Tomorrow, though, the warming trend starts. Around the upper fifities for the next four days. What a relief!

I've been dropping in here on Scubaboard now and then to keep up with things sown there in St. Pete area. Pam and I are looking forward to getting together again this year. We had a blast last time. I'll try to post a couple of pics of this mess when I can get them together.

You guys be safe and have fun. :eek:uttahere

This has been the coldest year of the past 7. My poor orange tree has been FROZEN. (This hasnt happened before, it is under the protection of some large oaks). Also the water here is frozen today again! This is the first year of the 7 I have been at this house, that this has happened.
At least the power hasnt frozen too...LMAO!

They are predicting this is the last big cold snap of the year! Thank god for that.....the gulf water temps are about 58 today! I will be renting a drysuit for tomorrows diving!

Stay warm, and we will see you in the summer. Maybe you would be interested in ITK 2009? (Invade The Keys)

Don't count on it. We should have at least one more cold spell. Usually at the end of Feb. to the first of March we get another one.

I seem to be having a little trouble loading some of the pics here. For those who are on Facebook, I do have some loaded there. Under Bill Bryant...
Florida does sound very tempting after this last mess. Today though, it's actually supposed to get up to 70, believe it or not.
Thanks guys,
Bill And Pam
