It works like this... "Meet at chart ref. XXX-YYY. Bring a towel". You know what's coming, and yet you hope in vain it's not what you think. And when you're there you get to wait in line with 102 guys, watching them as it slowly moves to be your turn. What do you think is the worst part?

Anyways, we dropped 230 guys into this hole in two days. Only two backed out, and it WAS NOT mandatory. They're all reserves. Guys with ordinary jobs 8-5, just looking to get out on a weekend now and then for some training with the guys. Oh, well. About 60% of them are Kosovo/Lebanon/Afghanistan veterans... I'm just a school kid compared to some, but I get to hide it behind some silver on my shoulders, ha ha!

You're with the Norwegian Army? I got to work with those guys (and gals) in a few different places. They were probably my favorite foreign military folks to work with.

I've trained Georgia National Guard among others, in winter disciplines. Now I'm just a "weekender".
