Ice Diving Class

I will be running two ice diving classes. The first class will be January 26 & 27 at Lake Wazee in Black River Falls, WI. The second class will be February 9 & 10. Historically, Haigh Quarry opens up the second weekend in February for ice diving. So if there is enough ice, I'll be running a class there. If Haigh is not open, then the class will be at Lake Wazee. I will also look for other possible locations closer to Chicago, like Lake Nagi, and Lannon Quarry.

There will be a lecture at my place a week or two before each class. For those folks who are out of town, we can figure out something remotely. I do not want to do the lecture at Wazee as it will significantly reduce our in-water time and will make for a very busy weekend.

This kind of class is very weather dependent and I will continue to watch the conditions. If needed, I will also look for back up dates. If there are any questions, please PM me.

Price is $250, need a minimum of 3 students. I only take a maximium of 4 per class. You can find more info on my web site.

OK, I didn't know. Ice diving at Lake Geneva in Switzerland isn't possible, because this lake is great and very deep.
