How many of you hearty Pacific NW divers have missed out on ice diving this winter? It has been such a mild winter I had to hunt for this ice patch in a shady cove in lake Coeur D' Alene, Idaho. It was worth it though. The ice was clear and I had the surreal feeling of being in a cathedral with a glass ceiling.

too cool. I used to think that people that would go ice diving were nuts, but after seeing some photos, I've changed my mind. I'd love to try it, but I don't think there are many places to try it near where I live, especially this "winter".
