Basically, I have lost my way...

Alan thinks I need to dive more locally.
Josh showed up and threatened to show his new Predator dive computer. (drool)
Rick reminded us that sidemount OC can go into smaller holes than back mount rebreather.
I posted a link to Rock Bluff- you tube.
Josh posted a sidemount rebreather article (oh yeah.)
And then I put my foot into the mud without reading the thread from Rworld.

Basically, I need therapy, more diving and I have great friends that support me.
Thank you everyone...

Now... Why I have not heard from you?

Oh, the dive store rocks and I am sure that Alan will have a report soon.

Questions....

Andrew

OK, I have officially lost track of this thread. I am so darned lost right now. Let me come back tomorrow and try again.

Yep been in a few times.

Nice store front with compressor and all the funny gas you want.
They have air, nitrox, oxygen and trimix.... :D

Plus, they carry the usual cast of gear and will bring in lines if they feel there is an interest.

You know the crew, you just don't know, you know them,,, :shocked2:

This is a good thing.
I am interested in their side mount class, decompression modeling class and getting back to cave country.
Cave country has been calling .... darn itch I can't scratch here in Oklahoma lake country.

Hope that you have been well Alan.
Andrew

In an effort to add further confusion to the clairity I think it's important to remember that you made two comments in your first post that results in the multiple hijackings of this thread.

#1 - "I am interested in their side mount class"
#2 - ".....getting back to cave country."

FIXXERVI6 could let the first comment past, and I couldn't help but agree with the second comment.

Just thought I'd point that out. :D

Now, to get this thread back on track for anyone that's still lost let me attempt to recap. It seems there is a rebreather focused dive shop in cave country. The owner is currently off doing extensive side-mount diving while patiently awaiting his first shipment of Predators that ultimately are going to be delivered by Alan.

Did I get that right?

Let's get back on the track of THIS thread..............what is so special to me as a OC technical diving consumer about this shop? I have heard more negative comments regarding it's mood of operation from industry people then good comments here on my thread...? Set this information in proper form-someone say an employee or owner please explain your operation and set-up. Do they have an internet address //web page? I persn. have had far to little time to drive the distance to get the facts in person, but I might just be their biggest asset to date given accurate information. ?

Now, I am even more curious. No more less confused. No more informed. I shall continue to listen quietly. . . . . . . . . By the way, I do believe this thread will be completely cleared up with another 5 to 6 days of discussion. We are just not there yet. But hey! I am entertained.
Andrew, I will answer your message.

:)

Alan,

I guess a dive store is what you make it.
It has most of the common lines, tanks, gear and breathing gas.

I like it because I know Adam and if I ask for something I know it will get ordered.
All to often I walk into dives stores and get the cold shoulder for being the tekkie dive nerd for what I am wanting to order and get told that I am going to die for diving on a rebreather.
You probably know this this all to well being a technical trimix diver.

As far as the dive industry goes there are always two sides to a story.
I have not heard any negative comments but I have not been in the loop for sometime as you know.

The website is probably lower on the list of things to do with the cross overs, working on the facility, classroom, gear lines, signing contracts, setting up the mixing station.

I will PM you the information for the shop.
Regards, Andrew

Andrew,

"You probably know this this all to well being a technical trimix diver." YEP!

Alan

OK, I am back online. Been offline for a few days.
Believe it or not, this whole thread now makes sense to me.
You OC CCR BM RB SM CaVe divers were bouncin' all over the dive map there for a few posts; but I am with you now.

Alan, more to your question, Adam is some how involved in this shop as is Richard.
Of course, I can see how this web site Welcome to IARTD. The future of diving!
is not very useful.

I have a friend who is signed on to this shop for Divemaster training; but then life got in her way; so I have no reports. I did bump into one of the IARTD instructors at CSSP the other weekend; so I know they are teaching somebody something. Sorry for being fuzzy on the details.

anyone happen to know the store hours? i'd like to stop by and check it out sometime
