Was looking for some information about courses / instructors and kept getting a popup asking for my username / password. Looking at google now and it shows "this site may be hacked"

Not sure why they would be targeted, but I figure they were just an easy target / poor web security.

They probably have a strong server, and therefore it is useful to serve up porn as a robot site.

IANTD site is still down. I'm an IANTD instructor and the shop I work with is a platinum facility. If you have any questions, i'll do my best to answer them for you!

Well, if you happen to have the course description / prerequisites for ART(I think that would be the first course I would be interested in) that would be great, but I'm mostly looking to see what instructors are near my area. (Hickory, NC) I'm looking to start technical training soon and starting to try and talk to instructors to see who I fit with.

what do you mean by ART? I call that "Advanced Recreational Trimix" and that would not be a starting point (more of an endpoint!).
The starting point for tec training would be Nitrox/Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures if you don't already have these.
Of course, it would be best if you came to florida for all your training :snorkels:

Yes, I was refering to advanced recreational trimix. Looking here I was under the impression that you needed nitrox and deep certs prior to starting. Their description states that it:
"The IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix program covers the core skills from the technical diver training programs including the use of twinsets with central isolation manifolds and decompression skills and procedures using bottom mixes of Recreational Trimix with oxygen contents between 21% and 40% with a maximum pO2 of 1.5 bar, combined with a helium content to yeild an Equivelent Narcotic Depth (END) no greater than 24 msw"

Maybe I'm misunderstanding that, which is why I'm trying to do my research...

ah. the standard for ART is:

B. Prerequisites
1. Certifications requirements::
a. Open Circuit, must be qualified as:
I. IANTD Deep Diver or equivalent
►► NOTE: The Deep Diver course can be made in conjunction with the Recreational Trimix
Diver course.
II. IANTD EANx Diver or equivalent
►► NOTE: The EANx Diver course can be made in conjunction with the Recreational Trimix
Diver course.

i always recommend that divers get advanced EANx/Deco and some dive experience in that BEFORE they go to Trimix. But that is just the way i teach.
