One more question, okay? - wondering how many wetsuit divers use a hood without a bib - seems like they call it a drysuit hood. Or if you do use a bib, if you keep the bib on the outside of the suit. I'm only talking if you have a separate hood.

Seems it would be a lot easier and less claustrophobic to not have to deal with getting the bib flat and straight under the suit. Then again, if it could be done seems like everyone would be doing it, so this is probably just wishful thinking.

I'll be using it with a Bare Arctic full suit if it matters. Thanks, again, in advance.

I bought a hood with a bib for my cavern class, but hated it. I've since just used a beanie style hood when I need to. I think that's the way to go or maybe to wear a hooded vest under your full suit.

Yes, I have used my drysuit hood with my 7mm wetsuit. There is a small gap between the hood and the wetsuit. It is not as warm as a normal hood that tucks inside but only slightly less warm. When I use the drysuit hood with a drysuit there is that same gap, not that big of a problem but then the water here is not all that cold. It only gets down to the mid to low 50's here.

That said, I mostly use my hooded vest with my wetsuit unless I know the water is warm or I intend to stay shalow

Hooded vest, the over or under versions as conditions dictate. Superior neck opening closure and back zip seepage muting.
