...post on Scubaboard, after hearing all the horror stories from friends that post, and who inevitably end up getting into spitting matches with other posters. Quite frankly I've no time, or patience, for flame wars... but... Dr Bill is on this site, so it must not be THAT bad, and it seems that amongst the rants and raves there can actually be found some great, and educational advice, imagine that!:D

I'm more a reader than a writer, though I might put in my 2 cents worth from time to time. Glad to finally be on here, looking forward to meeting the bunch of you.

See you all underwater!

Soooo... You make your first post running us all in the ground except Dr. Bill and then hope no one drags you across the rip-rap? Where do you get off?

Nah, just kiddin' man! :D Welcome to ScubaBoard, and hope you enjoy it.
Anyone else?

Well, welcome out of the shadows!

If we had no differences of opinion, we'd run out of stuff to talk about pretty darned fast . . .

Welcome to SB!

What's your opinion on DIR?

:rofl3::rofl3::rofl3: Just pushing those buttons huh? he he he

WELCOME TO :sblogo:
No matter what blog site you go to there will always be TROLLS :troll: and you just have to filter through the riffraff. There is a vast amount of information to be had here and really great MODS who keep things under control. There are forums just for the sake of arguing and you will know soon enough if you are in one. Word of wisdom, if you are not DIR or have no DIR interest, stay away from that forum! That is the serious HIGHLY FLAMMABLE area of Scubaboard! :flame:
Dr Bill is DA BOMB BTW! :D

Happy diving!
Caroyn:sharks:

...ok, so I'll admit it, I also joined the board because, as much as I don't like TROLLS, as Caroyn called them, I love laughing and meeting good people even more, and scubaboard does seem to have quite a few clowns as members!:p Maybe it's residual narcing... already had a few good laughs this morning with these posts, thanks all for the great welcome, look forward to being a part of this community!

UCFDIVER, to answer your question about how I feel in regards to DIR diving. I've done a lot of research on it, have talked to quite a few people here in Los Angeles who are really into it, read the articles and have finally decided that...oh wait, coffees ready, I can smell it from here... I'll have to get back to this question at later time!

See you guys!

Do you have an opinion on splitfins :rofl3:

oh darn now I did it.:D :flame:
