Phyllodesmium rudmani is a Nudibranch that mimics soft coral of the genus Xenia

Went diving in terribly bad weather today, driving rain and big swells, the beach water was brown like chocolate milk from the river. Found a clean spot and saw this among many other things as well.

Jus because the weather looks bad doesn't mean that the diving will also be bad.

water temp was 84 f dive time was 2 x 80 minutes

I'm keeping location private to avoid overcrowding by divers.

just google the name, I don't take a camera with me on dives, for me it's like playing basketball with a camera in your hands.
