OK... I understand that... I would put myself in the same category... I use a TRV-20 mini-dv... I usually use lights for peeking under the reefs, etc... I can't set my WB manually underwater though with my housing. That would be a nice feature...
Unfortunately I am already about $1500 into this "hobby" as it were, and it's hard to contemplate getting a better camera and then a housing. So far, I have had good luck with post production on Premier... I can add some red quite easily on the shots that need it.
