I need a broken/non-working Gameboy for an underwater experiment. Can anyone help? Since I'm going to take it underwater I figured this would be a good place to start with my search. E-bay does not appear to sell broken ones.

If the experiment is a success, I'll post the results.

just buy a working one then break it

Find a little kid and break theirs.

Your unlikely to find a broken GB for sale, but you could try a local charity shop or something for an old one and then just crap it up.

Search eBay for the following:

game boy "as is"

I got 2 results with that.
...see sellers on eBay don't say "broken", they say "as is". ;)

Try either pawnshops where it's sold "as-is" or a store that sells only video games. Ask them at the counter if they've gotten any in lately that aren't working. I now up here in the Pacific NW we have a lot of game stores that sell used stuff and occasionally will take in something not working. Good Luck

Jake

Almost sounds like he is trying to build an underwater housing for it, probably would be a hit with the deco divers

1. I want a broken one because it will be cheap. I'm not going to spend the money on a good one and then break it.
2. Good idea about "as is" and pawn shops. I'll try that.
3. Underwater housing...good guess, but not quite.
Thanks everyone

It's gotta be for a submersible eRDP.

Check the local Salvation Army store.
