do you know the buoyancy of the collar?
incidentally do you use a cmc to help focus closer?
My set up is a little more wide angle focussed... therefore not sure if the MF2's will have enough juice in them for wide angle coverage... whats your take? This is why I am looking at the Hybrid flashes... plus the fact that they have 5000 lumen continuous video lights might help in a pinch as well if I want to dive and record some video ...

I added the 2 diopters to my list above. I'd forgotten to list them.

The cmc series is diopters for cropped-sensor cameras. The smc is for full frame.u

I wasn't suggesting you get the mf2, i listed my system plus the bouancy setup for you to get an idea only.
The mf2 aren't nearly bright enough for wide angle.

do you know the buoyancy of the collar?
The Stix float collar is approximately 2oz per segment. I think I am using 5 segments for about 10oz floatation to offset the heavy UFL165AD lens.
