Cozumel is "almost free" in terms of tropical diving vacations

Funjet has $199 fares from O'Hare (nonstop!) in August. I know I just got back a few weeks ago but that's sooo hard to pass up!

Weather was OK when we were there. Only had 2 fully sunny days, the rest were overcast with rain here and there... and over there. Eh, we were gonna get wet anyway! Never rained while we were out on the boat though.

Sunship1 had Rockford (Chicagoland Northwest Regional Airport - right in my backyard) to Cancun flights last winter for $125 round trip. We were on the inaugural flight last Feb. They have suspended the RFD-CUN flights for the season, but I'm hoping for more deals this winter.

zinmaker, I'll be in P.G., CA and posted for dive buddies on the NorCal board for the Friday before Labor Day in Monterey Bay. It looks like there will be a group of us. PM me for more info.
